Diketahui, kebakaran membara di sejumlah titik utara Istrael akibat beberapa serangan balasan pada Kamis (4/7/2024) lalu, waktus etempat.
Serangan balasan ini juga sebagai salah satu bentuk amarah Hizbullah seusai tewasnya dua komandan senior.
Setidaknya satu jalan raya utama tak bisa dilalui karena kebakaran hebat di Dataran Tinggi Golan yang diduduki.
Hizbullah menembakkan lebih dari 200 rudal dan sekitar belasan drone ke pangkalan militer di Israel utara.
Sebagai informasi, pembalasan atas pembunuhan yang ditargetkan terhadap komandan Unit Aziz, Mohammed Naame Nasser, sehari sebelumnya.
Serangan tersebut menargetkan beberapa lokasi sensitif tentara dan barak di Galilea dan Dataran Tinggi Golan.
Beberapa serangan rudal lainnya diluncurkan secara berurutan.
Ketika kebakaran menyebar di wilayah utara Israel, ketua Dewan Eksekutif Hizbullah, Hashem Safieddine, bersumpah bahwa respons terhadap pembunuhan tersebut belum berakhir.
Belum ada laporan soal korban jiwa atau cedera, namun imbas serangan ini kebakaran besar.
Dilaporkan terjadi di 10 lokasi di daerah Galilea dan Dataran Tinggi Golan.
Hingga satu jalan raya di Dataran Tinggi Golan terpaksa ditutup sementara waktu akibat kebakaran hebat.
Bahkan pemadam kebakaran yang dikerahkan mengaku kewalahan menangani kobaran api yang tak kunjung padam akibat rentetan rudal Hizbullah.
