Hal ini berdasarkan keterangan dari balai pemasyarakatan (bapas) yang mendampingi Saka Tatal saat pemeriksaan kala itu.
Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho dalam keterangan pada Rabu (19/6/2024) menyebut keterangan Saka Tatal kerap berubah-ubah.
Sandi juga menepis isu yang menyebut Saka Tatal mendapat perlakuan intimidasi dan tak didampingi keluarga.
Lebih lanjut, Sandi juga membantah kabar yang menyebut Saka Tatal bukan diperiksa oleh penyidik melainkan ayah Eky, Iptu Rudiana.
Sandi juga menunjukkan bukti yang memperlihatkan Saka Tatal diperiksa oleh penyidik Polresta Cirebon.
Dalam penanganan perkara ini, Sandi berujar, penyidik berhati-hati dan bekerja secara profesional.
Adapun sebelumya, kuasa hukum Saka Tatal, Farhat Abbas telah melaporkan Iptu Rudiana ke Polres Cirebon Kota.
Rudiana dituding telah melakukan rekayasa terhadap pengungkapan kasus pembunuhan Vina dan Eky.
