Kapal Kargo Israel Tenggelam Diserang Houthi, Puing-puing Maritim dan Minyak Tumpah di Laut Merah

Dilansir dari i24News, hal itu diumumkan oleh Operasi Perdagangan Maritim Inggris (UKMTO), pada Rabu (19/6/2024).
Menurutnya, kapal berbendera Liberia itu tenggelam setelah beberapa hari diserang Houthi.
Sebelum tenggelam kapal itu tampak meledak dan terbakar hebat.
Seorang awak kapalnya juga dilaporkan tewas akibat ledakkan dahsyat di kapal tersebut.
Otoritas militer Inggris itu pun mengatakan bahwa serangan Houthi membuat Israel dan sekutunya rugi besar.
Selain kehilangan kapal kargonya, minyak yang diangkut dalam kapal itu pun lenyap.
Puing-puing maritim dan tumpahan minyak yang diangkut menggunakan kapal tersebut dilaporkan tercecer di Laut Merah.
“Otoritas militer melaporkan puing-puing laut dan minyak terlihat di lokasi terakhir yang dilaporkan,” kata UKMTO.
Diketahui, kapal Tutor ini menjadi kapal terafiliasi Israel kedua yang tenggelam di Laut Merah.
Adapun kapal pertama yang tenggelam merupakan kapal Rubymar yang tengah membawa pupuk pada Maret lalu.
