Pertemuan Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming Raka dengan Presiden ke-5 Megawati Soekarnoputri di sela peringatan Hari Lahir Pancasila di Gedung Pancasila, Kementerian Luar Negeri, Jakarta, menjadi sorotan.Menurut Ketua MPR Ahmad Muzani, Gibran Rakabuming Raka sempat berbincang akrab dengan Megawati Soekarnoputri yang menjabat Ketua Dewan Pengarah BPIP. Momen itu terjadi di holding room, Gedung Pancasila, sebelum upacara dimulai.
Muzani yang menyaksikan momen tersebut mengatakan, Gibran dan Megawati sempat bercanda bersama Presiden Prabowo Subianto. Dalam percakapan itu, Gibran terlihat menanyakan kabar dan kesehatan Megawati dan hal lainnya.
Sejumlah tokoh penting juga berkumpul di sana, termasuk Wakil Presiden ke-6 Try Sutrisno dan Wakil Presiden ke-10 dan ke-12 Jusuf Kalla.
Gibran dan Mega tampak bercanda bersama para tokoh lain yang berada di ruangan yang sama. Mereka duduk saling berhadapan dan tampak lepas dalam obrolan singkat tersebut.
Kehadiran Gibran dan Megawati dalam satu ruangan mencuri perhatian, mengingat hubungan politik antara keduanya menjadi sorotan sejak Pemilu 2024.
